A compressor's operational flexibility has its limits, which is illustrated by the Operating Envelope.  The Operating Envelope indicates the theoretical threshold a compressor can function in without being challenged by the operating conditions. And, right in the middle of this area, is the compressor's sweet spot. 

But what sets the limits? And how do you avoid pushing the compressor past its boundaries? Jens is once again joined by application expert John Broughton, who gives some unique insight into the life of compressor.
